Don't Risk Your Tolerances. We Manage the Entire Process.
The #1 failure in finishing is when plating build-up causes your precisely machined parts to fail inspection. We eliminate this risk. Our process isn’t just plating; it’s tolerance management.
Our Core Promises:
Integrated DFM Review: Our engineers will analyze your tolerance requirements before machining, and reserve precise compensation allowance for the plating thickness.
Precision Masking: We use professional masking technology to protect all critical features—including threads, bores, and precision mating surfaces—from being affected during the electroplating process.
Single-Source Accountability: As a partner providing a full set of services, we take full responsibility for the final part’s dimensions and function. There is absolutely no “blame game.”
Our Full Range of Plating & Finishing Capabilities
We offer a comprehensive range of certified plating and finishing processes. Find your required specification below, or contact our engineering team if you don’t see your exact requirement.
Electroless Nickel (EN) Plating
Electroless Nickel provides perfectly uniform thickness, even inside complex bores. This makes it the ideal engineering solution where dimensional control and superior corrosion protection are critical.

High-Phosphorus (High-Phos)
With 10-13% phosphorus, this finish is a dense, pore-free barrier. It offers the absolute best corrosion resistance, often exceeding 1000+ hours in salt spray testing. We specify it for parts in marine, oil & gas, or chemical environments.

Medium-Phosphorus (Mid-Phos)
The industry “workhorse” (6-9% phosphorus), balancing good corrosion resistance with excellent wear resistance and hardness. We use post-plating heat treatment to achieve specific hardness levels (up to ~70 HRC) for high-wear components.

Key Specifications & Compliance
Our processes are rigorously controlled to meet the industry's most stringent standards, ensuring your parts are fully compliant and traceable to:
- ASTM B733 (All Classes & Types)
- MIL-C-26074 (Mil-Spec for defense/aerospace)
Chromage
Chrome plating is a highly durable finish, valued for two distinct purposes: exceptional functional hardness or a brilliant, decorative cosmetic appearance.

Hard Chrome (Industrial)
Engineered for extreme wear resistance and a low-friction surface, Hard Chrome (68-72 HRC) is a functional coating. We apply it to high-wear components like hydraulic shafts, rollers, and molds to dramatically extend their operational life.

Decorative Chrome (Bright/Satin)
This is a multi-layer finish (copper-nickel-chrome) designed for a "Class A" cosmetic appearance. We use it to create the flawless, mirror-like or satin finish required for premium automotive, electronic, and consumer parts, while also adding tarnish and corrosion protection.

Key Specifications & Compliance
Our chrome plating processes are certified to meet key industry and military standards. We ensure your parts are compliant with specifications such as:
- ASTM B456 (Standard for Decorative Electroplated Coatings)
- QQ-C-320 (Federal Specification for Hard Chrome Plating)
Zinc Plating (w/ Chromate)
Zinc plating is the industry’s most cost-effective method for providing sacrificial corrosion resistance to steel parts. The final color and level of protection are determined by the chromate conversion coating applied after plating.

Chromate Finishes & Colors
We offer a full range of chromate finishes to meet your specific cosmetic and functional requirements. Common options include:
- Clear / Blue (Moderate protection, clear/blue tint)
- Yellow (Good protection, traditional yellow/iridescent)
- Black (Aesthetic black finish)
- Olive Drab (Primarily for military applications)

RoHS Compliant (Trivalent)
While older specifications used Hexavalent chromate, our modern processes utilize Trivalent Chromates (Clear, Yellow, Black). This ensures your parts are fully RoHS compliant for European and global markets, offering excellent protection without the environmental concerns.

Key Specifications & Compliance
Our processes are certified to meet the most common commercial and industrial standards for zinc plating:
- ASTM B633 (All Types I-VI, including Clear, Yellow, and Black)
- RoHS Compliant (Trivalent Finishes Available)
Precious Metal Plating
Precious metal plating is specified for critical applications requiring exceptional electrical conductivity, solderability, or complete inertness (biocompatibility and corrosion resistance).

Gold Plating
Gold is the standard for high-reliability electronic and medical components. It provides unmatched corrosion resistance, low contact resistance, and excellent solderability. We apply gold plating per ASTM B488 to ensure critical components like connectors, pins, and medical contacts perform flawlessly.

Silver Plating
Offering the highest electrical conductivity of all metals, silver is a cost-effective alternative to gold for high-power applications. We use it for switches, high-current connectors, and RF components where signal integrity and low resistance are paramount.

Key Specifications & Compliance
Our precious metal plating is performed to rigorous industry standards to guarantee performance and traceability:
- ASTM B488 (Standard for Gold Plating)
- ASTM B700 (Standard for Silver Plating)
Other Finishes & Treatments
Beyond the primary plating types, we provide essential finishes and treatments required to achieve specific functional properties, from solderability to corrosion resistance on stainless steel.

Tin Plating (Bright & Matte)
Tin is the industry standard for achieving excellent solderability at a low cost. It also provides good conductivity and corrosion protection. We offer both bright (cosmetic) and matte (functional) finishes, all of which are RoHS compliant and ideal for electronic enclosures, connectors, and terminals.

Copper Plating
Often used as a critical underplate, copper acts as a "primer" to improve the adhesion and conductivity of subsequent finishes (like nickel or gold) on complex substrates. We also use it as a final finish for thermal conductivity or as a masking layer during selective heat treatment.

Passivation of Stainless Steel
This is not a plating process, but a crucial chemical treatment. Passivation removes free iron from the surface of stainless steel parts after machining, maximizing their natural corrosion resistance without adding any material or changing part dimensions. We perform passivation to ensure your stainless parts achieve their full, intended lifespan.

Key Specifications & Compliance
Our processes are certified to meet critical industry and military standards for these finishes:
- ASTM B545 (Standard for Tin Plating)
- MIL-P-81728 (Passivation of Stainless Steel)
- ASTM A967 (Standard for Passivation of Stainless Steel)
Why Choose Our Integrated Process?
A perfect finish is useless if it’s not verifiable and repeatable. Our quality system is built on tangible proof and certified processes to guarantee your parts meet or exceed specifications, every time.

XRF Thickness Testing
We use X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometers to non-destructively verify that your coating thickness meets the exact specifications.

Adhesion Testing
We perform ASTM D3359 (cross-hatch) adhesion testing to ensure the coating will never peel or flake.

Salt Spray Testing
We simulate harsh environments to verify our corrosion-resistant coatings meet or exceed standard requirements.
